The odd couple were recently arrested after police found a child’s remains buried in their yard and their six year-old daughter caged inside their home feeding on herself.

The body of a young child has been discovered buried under a home where a six-year-old girl was kept in a cage and almost starved to death.
Police made the grisly discovery of the child’s remains while they questioned a couple about the alleged abuse of their daughter.
Brian and Shannon Gore are accused of keeping the girl in shocking conditions and virtually starving her to death. The girl, aged between six and seven, was so hungry that when found her she was eating the flaky skin of her forehead. She was covered in bed sores and her own faeces and is feared to have been kept in a cage for months.
Brian and Shannon Gore face first degree murder charges stemming from the grisly find. Police made the startling discovery of the remains of a second child when they dug under a trailer home. They have already been charged with the attempted murder of their daughter who was found barely alive in a darkened room.
The condition of the girl, who was covered from head to toe in her own waste, was so bad that police in Virginia believe it is the worst ever case of child abuse they have investigated. Detectives found the child naked lying in faeces, which was also in her hair. She was suffering from bed sores and severe starvation and was unable to walk after being freed from the crudely built cage.
Doctors treating the girl told police if they had found her a week later she would have died from starvation. Brian Gore, 29, told police the girl had been kept in the cage since last summer. Gore and his 24 year old wife told police the girl suffered from Downs Syndrome and had cerebral palsy. They claimed she was kept locked in a cage to protect her.
Police only found out about the alleged abuse while making house to house inquiries for an investigation into stolen gold bullion. Detectives obtained a search warrant for a trailer home where the Gore’s lived – and came across the shocking sight of the malnourished girl. Court papers revealed that the girl was fed one Pop Tart in the morning and another in the evening, perhaps with a sandwich.
Gore admitted to investigators he built a top over her cot that it into a cage. Detectives said Brian Gore said the girl was in the cage since last summer and rarely came out. She would remain in the cage all day while Shannon worked. Gore went on to say: ‘No one knew she existed because she was born at home, and Shannon never went to a doctor.’
Officials in Gloucester, Virginia, said the child has no birth certificate. Detectives said when they found the girl she could not walk because she was kept in the crib-cage for so long.
While police carried out the investigation they received information about the dead child buried under the trailer home. A medical examiner is carrying out an investigation to determine the cause of death and sex of the child.
A month old boy found in the home is now being cared for social services and was said to be in a healthy condition.

A woman is suing her ex-husband in Dubai for more than $12 million, claiming he failed to sexually perform during their marriage, according to a report.
Gulf News reported that the woman was seeking compensation for his alleged impotency because it meant her needs were not fulfilled. She further claimed she was forced to take part in “inhumane sex.”
The woman said her husband, a wealthy businessman and a “former public figure,” was a “sweet-talker” before they got married. She said she later discovered he had been a “womanizer” and had been married 12 times.
Their marriage in 2008 lasted for about 15 months. The woman said they did not sleep together for the first four months, Gulf News said.
“When he did for the first time, he treated me inhumanly and inappropriately,” she told the court. “I discovered later on that he suffered erectile dysfunction. He was exactly the opposite of what he claimed to me before we signed the marriage contract.”
“I suffered mentally, emotionally and lost any hope to become a mother,” she added. “Considering the conservative Arab values and the woman’s situation in such a society, I remained silent and tried to adapt (by) praying to God that things would improve. He treated me roughly and refused to support me financially or provide me with a decent shelter.”
She also claimed her husband forced her to quit her job, so she lost her income and had to borrow money.
After they split up, the woman, who was not named by Gulf News, said the man kept her passport.
“Following the divorce, he stripped me of all my jewelry which he gave to me as part of the dowry. I ended up being emotionally and psychologically and financially broke … I visited psychological clinics for treatment,” the claimant said, according to the Gulf News report.

Hines Ward’s morning started off with a boom! The Pittsburgh Steelers star was removed at gunpoint from a vehicle and handcuffed in L.A. earlier this morning.

Luckily, the whole incident was a big misunderstanding.

The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant was a passenger in a Honda Civic around 2 AM … when LAPD officers flipped on their lights and sirens and pulled the car over.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops had run the license plate and noticed the car had been reported stolen. We’re told police drew their weapons … and ordered both Hines and the female driver out of the car and placed them both in handcuffs.

The female driver then explained … SHE was the person who reported the car stolen in the first place after an incident involving a valet. But she got her car back … and forgot to tell cops to call off the alert.

We’re told the officers verified her story — and eventually let both Hines and the driver leave without further incident.  Law enforcement sources tell us Hines was VERY cooperative and understanding about the situation.

Those Jersey Shore kids just CANNOT catch a break!

First, Italian residents expressed their extreme dislike of the MTV reality stars by calling them the “worst stereotypes of Italians, multiplied by thousands.” And now, an Italian university is “warning” their students about the guido invasion happening at a residence hall where the show will be taping.

“Dear Students,” a letter from the school addressed to students read. “Our Housing dept. has informed us that starting May 9th there will be shootings inside the 2nd floor apartment of your building. We advise you to NOT sign any paper, let anyone in, and keep us informed.”

According to sources at the Instituto Lorenzo de Medici, the school is so serious about keeping students away from the Jersey Shore cast, that officials are offering “alternative housing close to campus” to anyone who wants it.

The college is also offering to issue a partial refund to students who have already pre-paid for their rent, and want to leave.
